Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has taken swift action following the tragic attack in Mayo Ladde community of Hong Local Government Area, personally visiting the area to commiserate with affected families and traditional leadership.
During the visit, Gov Fintiri met with the Tol Huba, Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako, offering heartfelt condolences over the loss of lives and destruction caused by the incident.




The Governor described the attack as a painful setback, noting that the loss of innocent lives remains a heavy burden on the state. He also extended sympathy to residents who have been displaced and are currently taking refuge in Uba Gaya.
Reaffirming his administration’s determination, Gov Fintiri made it clear that Adamawa will not bow to insecurity. He stressed that government support to the military and local vigilante groups will be strengthened to ensure those behind the attack are confronted decisively.
He assured the people of Hong that efforts are underway to restore peace, rebuild affected communities, and guarantee the safety of lives and property.
Gov Fintiri urged residents to remain resilient, emphasizing that the government stands firmly with them and will not relent until lasting security is achieved across the state.
